ok everyone i will let you in on a little secret of mine, you get one of those nursing pillows or roll up a blanket or a towel and lay her over it with her arms infront of her but not to far center her waite this is way more comfortable for babys and it lets them see more things instead of the carpet. and this also is very good for there skills, they need this time it helps them in making sounds and strenthing there neck muscles etc. and she will like a different view of things, don't worry about toys becuase if you baby is not comfy she won't be in to the toys, trust me this is my 3rd

I never did figure out a way! But my doctor told me every 30 seconds count. So, we would put her on her tummy....and then 30 second later she should scream. They a couple minute break and so on and so forth. Spend more time with baby sitting on your lap....so they neck can get some exercise holding the head up. My daughter still did just fine and was a little ahead of schedule. I guess you could try a couple different mats, or tummy time toys. We tried 2 or 3 and none of them worked, but might for yours. Good Luck!

You don't. Honestly my son, my first, hated it and I tried everything under the sun to amuse him while on his tummy. My daughter loves being on her tummy from day one! I really think it is a personality thing and it would be like trying to make a left-handed kid write right-handed! I am pregnant with my 3rd and I will let them lead the way. By the way both son and daughter crawled at the same age.

I would try laying on the floor and putting your 3 month old on your tummy while they lay on their tummy. When the baby rests it's head down it can hear your stomach and heart noises. Good Luck!

My daughter hated it too! Never could make her have much tummy time. She'll be fine. In fact my daughter started walking at 9 months because she never crawled. She wouldn't stay on her tummy long enough to learn to crawl.

My baby hates it too. She enjoyed when I held her on top of the glider's ottoman and gently rocked her back and forth carefully. Do you have an ottoman? I was checking out http://www.youtube.com and I searched "tummy time" and the vast majority of the kids hated tummy time. Perhaps the challenge will help them deal with other challenges as they grow?! We can hope! Hang in there and KNOW you are not alone.

My son hates to be on his stomach and he always did. He is/was ok about it for 10 minutes or so, then he gets tired of it. Hes almost 7 months now and he is flipping himself over and fusses when he cant flip back to his back. Just let the baby tell you when theyve had enough. If they dont like it, dont force them. You cant really make a baby like something.

Put the baby on the floor and lay on your belly right in front of him, her, that way the baby doesn't feel frightened. make faces and put bright colored toys in front to get attention going it might take a couple of times but just being down there with the baby will be awesome for the both of you.
