We just bought the 2004 Cavalier and still haven't found the latch to fold down the rear seat.?

In the trunk there are too loops hanging there pull those and push the seat down and they should fold down. I know it took me a while to figure it out as well. Good Luck....

I recommend reading the car's manual. It will definitely tell you how to do it. Also, be sure it does indeed fold down, but i'm fairly certain that this model does have a fold down rear seat.

look for a loop near the top of the rear seats. pull up to release the striker then in to lower the seat.
