Seen this debate maaaany times. It's usually close to 50/50 w/ the Fab 4 having the edge.
Let's just say that Elvis was part of the reason behind the Beatles' existance, but my choice...Beatles all the way.
Though Elvis' influence on pop culture (to this day) can't be denied.

Well The Beatles were Elvis fans, so maybe Elvis was. I personnaly feel the Beatles were the best band of all times.

The Beatles because they sunk Elvis' career. Preteens and teens were beyond ready for something besides Elvis. His movies were an embarrassment, he was my mother's age (30) when the Beatles came to America so I thought he was an old fogey as I was 11 years old, and that 1950's music just wasn't doing it for us. Same story with the Beach Boys. One look at the Beatles and who cared about the "Little surfer girl".

Of course it is beatles, Elvis don't really have any famous song for people to remember. yes, there are some like "love me tender, love me sweet", but Beatles have better popularity in general.

Not a valid comparison. Two ENTIRELY different types of music. Both built a foundation for music in decades to come. (Kind of makes you wonder what the hell happened to make most of ttoday's music so bad, but that's another answer for another question). But they cannot be compared. A more valid comparison is Beatles to Stones, or Elvis to Buddy Holly (for lack of a better comparison)
