Your motto should be" Classy never goes out of style"

Your best bet is to work with your hair. Get a versatile cut so you can ring the changes with braids, ponytails, waves or curls( if you're ready to get up at six am),gel sets, but nothing too elaborate, you don't want to get expelled over a blooming hairdo!Try for a fifties Hepburn look: you can always stand out by looking extremely classic and well groomed with not a hair out of place of a gleaming, well conditioned and neatly coiffed 'do.

I tend not to encourage extensions for a high schooler myself.I suppose in any case that they aren't welcome at your school.

Look unique and develop your style sense by keeping your uniform in crisp good repair.Keep those shoes polished, keep the socks fresh. If you are allowed to wear stockings, then make sure they are the same color as your skirt for that long legged effect. And speaking of legs, just about every other kid will try to bend the rules and try to get the tiniest skirts,DON'T GO FOR THE HOOCHIE LOOK. Be classy. Try for the ladylike pumps since your school does not want D'Orsay styled shoes or slingbacks. And keep your heels low, twisting ankles at school is not classy, fun or cool .

Look for a belt with a pretty design, one style that will never go out is the woven strip belt. Keep your buckles in either a tortoiseshell or pearly color that complements the color of your top.

Be creative but always stay well within the rules.Keep it real :-)

My grand daughter goes to a private school, wears a uniform every day and the only thing they're allowed to do to (to make themselves look unique) is a single bow in their hair. I've observed many girls with crazy bows (they also did not match their uniform). The purpose behind the uniforms is so the student has no distractions so they will learn more and not have the pressure of pier styles. I wish ALL schools required uniforms.

Honestly I have never heard of any school that makes you wear certain color belts. That is very strict!Just keep your hair done nice, try to change the style up as much as possible.Once or twice a week should be enough. Also find some pretty hair pins to put in it.Buy several pairs of nice shoes(with a front and back of course)and dont forget to keep your nails looking good!

I went to a Catholic school until the 6th grade and I live in Philly, which is a very Catholic city. They HATE individuality. Individuals are people who THINK,and people who think are NOT people who follow unquestioningly. If you try to individualize your uni, they'll notice it. They'll notice it and they'll "have they're eye on you",and that's NEVER good. Just play the game and remember one thing;they only have you for x number of hours for x number of days. Do what you can on YOUR time, and count down to the day that you graduate. On that day, they can NEVER tell you what to wear, what to think, what's right and wrong about you or what and who you are again. Just do your time and do what you can. OK,I have one idea. Maybe you could "by accident" come in with socks of different lenths? Like,an inch or two apart? You won't get away with that every day,but the "uneven sock" thing might slip under the radar if you only do it on the first Tuesday of every month. That's unique, right? I'm trying to think of something that won't get you in trouble and that's about all I'm coming up with.Good luck :)(:

I would say wear a white shirt with the khaki pants and put a color t-shirt under your short like red, then I would wear a red ribbon or hair tie on my hair and red bracelets. That's how I jazz up my uniform when I was in school but our dress code wasn't has strict as yours...Hope this helps.....

Wear unique jewelry whatever kind you want, even if it doesn't necessarily match your strict uniform. It doesn't seem like jewelry is off limits, just make sure that it is not to disturbing, disruptive, offensive, or anything like that so that they won't mind you wearing it. You can also wear shoes that you like as long as they have a back and a front.

I believe the purpose of a uniform is to eliminate people looking unique. Of course you can accessorize and it seems like the uniform is fairly generous, so there's lots you can do to mix and match. Maybe, given the uniform situation, this is a good opportunity to prove to yourself and the world that your uniqueness is more than skin deep. Distinquish yourself from others in different ways other than fashion. Be the only girl in your school to play the accordian while sky-diving. I dunno, maybe that's dumb, but you know what I mean.

mix and match your uniform with fun accessories. you could wear different kinds of earrings and necklaces to give your uniform a sense of style and make it one of a kind. also you can get a new hair cut. if you have dark hair that is naturally straight or you dont mind straightening get long bangs that reach your eyebrows. if you have lighter hair get angles or side bangs. hope this helps!
