A few minutes ago I caught a small snake slithering around my front yard, but it snuck under a bush and no longer saw It.

Just curious as to what kinda of snake it was,any help would be appreciated.

It was really small, maybe about 9-11 inches long...very small in width, maybe half an inch,it was black but with very bright green stripes, almost yellow, but visibly green. The weather right now is cloudy and humid,it had been somewhat cold for the last few weeks and it didn't appear to be a pet snake,it was probably a baby snake too.

Kind of looked like a Western Garter Snake but much smaller and with more greenish-yellow color.

To get an answer to this you'd need to say whereabouts you live so that people know what snakes occur in your area.

I'm no expert, but there are plenty of knowledgeable people here:-

I'd suggest asking your question here, not forgetting to tell them what region you live in. Hopefully they can help :)
