Well I have a 23 day cycle. I had LMP on October 10th 2006. My period lasted only two days, that's normal for me. I just recently got off Yasmin on September 30th as well. I've been trying to concieve since then. I had sexual intercourse on:
October 15th
October 16th
October 17th
&&
October 20th
I ovulated October 19th.
4dpo - Bloated
5dpo - Nausea
6dpo - Heaches and more nausea
7dpo - Cramps
8dpo - Brownish spottin ( Not a lot for a liner )
9dpo - Cramps
10po - Heaches
11dpo - Nothing
12dpo - Cramps
13dpo - Nausea
14dpo - COLD, a very bad one. And I don't get colds.
15dpo - Cold got worse.
I was supposed to get my period on October 2nd. So I'm only a day late. I took two pregnancy tests, one at 7dpo and another 9dpo. Both negative. Can I still be pregnant??

First of all, RELAX!!!
No, a cold does not mean you are pregnant.
Trying to conceive can be stressful, don't make it more stressful. Just let your body adjust to being off the pill and continue to try and conceive. It will happen when your body is ready. It may take a couple of months for your body (hormones) to go back to normal. Please relax!
Best of Luck to you on getting pregnant!

Colds, even very bad ones, are not related to pregnancy. The common cold is caused by a virus. Antibiotics do not help colds, they only work on bacterial infections.
That said, I agree with some of the others who have answered, stress, especially the stress of trying to conceive, can lower the effectiveness of your bodies' natural defenses. This can make you more likely succumb to viral infections.
Two negative tests do not necessarily mean you are not pregnant, it may only indicate that the level of beta-HCG is not detectible in your urine by that test. To be sure, wait a few more days and try again, or contact your Physician for a more sensitive blood test.
I the mean time, take care of your cold the best you can. Avoid alcohol or any medications that may be contra-indicated during pregnancy. Take Tylenol if you are miserable. If you have other questions about medications that are safe to use if pregnant, call or contact Mother-risk at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, Ontario CANADA for the most up to date and comprehensive information available.
Good luck to you, and feel better soon

A cold is not a sign of pregnancy but sometimes you can get a false negative pregnancy test even when you are pregnant so if i was you I'd wait if you still dont get your period take another test if it's still negative I'd make an appointment with my doctor good luck

Tests are very rarely false negative, but to be fair, there are many tests that don't detect the low levels of hormones produced on the first day of the missed period.
A cold isn't a sign of pregnancy. A cold can -- and often does -- cause delayed and skipped periods, because it stresses your body out.

A cold does not mean that you are pregnant. They have nothing to do with each other.
