Go and speak to your doctor first, you will have to explain your reasons and will be given counselling. I don't think you have to wait long, they will usually get on with it pretty quickly sometimes within days.
You can also go private, but I'm sure this will cost a lot.

Hope it goes alright for you and ignore what other people will say as I'm sure you will get people especially here condemning you, but if this is the right decision for you, it is your right and choice.

Take care!!

The easiest and cheapest way to get an abortion would be through a sexual health clinic like Planned Parenthood. Depending on where you live, there may also be a waiting period that you have to go through after making your first appointment, as well as some mandatory counseling to make sure you are making the right decision for yourself. If your state does not require or does not offer free counseling, please make sure to seek some, since you do not sound completely sure of what to do with your pregnancy or your relationship.

Mifepristone is for women who are 8 weeks or less in gestation, so you will need to look into this quickly if you do not want a surgical abortion.

Different states have different amounts of waiting period, it could range anywhere from 1 hour to 24 hours. On a 24 hour waiting period, you will make one appointment to confirm pregnancy, one appointment for counseling and then 24 hours after counseling to give yourself time to think about it, then you'll make the appointment where you'll take mifepristone which will make your pregnancy unviable and then take antibiotics and misoprotol later, which will expel the fetus from your uterus. Then, you'll probably make one last appointment a few days later to make sure the fetus was completely expelled.

Flavia go and talk to either your doctor or the practise nurse at your local doctors surgery as a soon as possible.Often you will find it quicker to see the nurse rather than the doc.But you really need to go as soon as possible.
Now some answers to some other posters on here:This girl was asking for help not opinions. You who are anti abortionists are an utter disgrace in my not so humble opinion. This girl has asked for help NOT your own personal axe to grind. Its her body and her life att stake here. Why could you not have the decency to respect that?
nhs=national health service.A publicly funded health service that is free at the point of delivery and is paid for out of the british taxpayers pocket. Its pretty efficiant for all that. And we afford it.
Final point.Yes i gave the thumbs down to a good few posters on here.Yes you are anti abortionists. And i did so because you did not answer the posters question.Bear in mind that abortion is LEGAL in both the USA and Britain.
Please respect the question and the questioner. You did not.Why should others respect you?

Wrong place to ask this question. you'll get bigots ranting about "killing babies" and telling you to go throguh with the pregnancy and birth and give the baby away for adoption like its an unwanted Christmas pressie. Nice! I wonder if they could do that? I couldn't

As for abortion, see your GP ASAP. I dont know how long it takes to get an abortion on the NHS but I know that you need to get one done ASAP because the earlier its done the easierand less traumatic it will be. I would imagine it will be sorted out fairly quickly and they wouldn't keep you waiting. You would not be able to get an abortion pill without seeing your GP.

If you can do try and carry through with the pregnancy - if you don't want to be a mother think of the many women who do and can't conceive and would be glad to adopt your baby and give it so much love, think of the gift you'll be giving both to your child and to that family. You aren't a bad person if you have an abortion but there are better options.

I don't know what country you live in, but in the United States many reputable abortion clinics are listed in the yellow pages.Planned Parenthood is excellent for information on your choices. It's very possible that you are more than 8 weeks pregnant. A GP is a totally unnecessary step. Remember all the choices you are faced with are all tough. Men come and go and mother is forever. Whatever choice you make, I want you to find peace within yourself. Sometimes that is the toughest part. Call Planned Parenthood now and get evaluated asap. The longer you wait, the more difficult the procedure. My prayers are with you..

You need to go to your gp or health clinic first and you will get referral after they make sure that you are positive it is the right idea. If your only 8 weeks gone it wont take long to get things sorted its harder to get the later abortions quickly on the nhs. Can take any amount of weeks it all depends on where you live but you can find out most effectively off your GP. Hope all goes well.

Wow, i haven't seen so many A$$holes, i mean opinions on one question before, oh wait, only the abortion ones.
Hey, if you can't answer her question, then quit with your meaningless garble. She isn't asking if she SHOULD. Do you people read?????
Go to church or something, because you aren't answering this girls question.

Anyhow, i honestly have never heard of that mefisterone. But we are in a podunk town too. But yes, call planned parenthood and talk to your GP. I am sure if this is really what you are set to do, they will help you asap. Without judgement i am sure.

Good luck, and you'll do what's best for you.

Don't listen to the others, it's your choice and if you don't feel ready to give all you can to a child right now, (because thats what you have to do) then i admire you for taking responsibilty and not dumping another unloved, messed up child into this world. But make sure you are MUCH more careful in future.
You need to see your doctor first to have an abortion on the nhs, they will work out how far gone you are, by giving you an 'early pregnancy scan' and as long as you are under 12weeks, they will make you an appointment before 12weeks comes around.
Think about it though, it's not something to be taken lightly.
Good luck

Here is a good thing, ADOPTION instead of murder.

Abortion is 100% wrong and a unforgivable sin. You wanted to be so grown up and open your legs without protection knowing what can happen so guess what now you are pregnant, instead of murdering the innocent baby give it up for adoption.

I was 16 when I got pregnant and my sons father dumped me the minute he found out and my *** did not run to no abortion clinic because unlike you I understood I was the dumb *** who chose to have sex and whatever came out of that I accepted full responsibility for.

I am now 19 and my son is 2, my sons father has never paid a cent nor has he ever seen him and I am doing fine, in college with a good job and I have a lot of fun with my son and love him to death. One thing I do not have to go living on with my life with guilt and thinking if im going to hell when I die because FYI no priest or nun agrees with abortion, WTF does that tell you? Hell if a church even finds out you had an abortion they will not allow you their.

I find it extremely pathetic how anyone can have an abortion when I was 16 and delt with having a baby and ya know what, what goes around comes around. My cousins ex fiance had an abortion and and she was in a bad accident a little over a year later and something happened to where she can no longer have kids and my cousin left her.

You NEVER know what is going to happen in the future, this may be the only time you get pregnant. Abortion can not only kill you but it can screw up your insides. This woman who works with my dad had one after her 1st child and she was never able to get pregnant again after that. Both this woman and my cousins ex both said they highly regret having an abortion and theywish then they would of none what they were doing was wrong and how big it would of impacted thier life.

WTF does being under 8 weeks have to do with it?? 6 weeks the heart is beating making it murder

See your GP they should either be able to sort you out or at least tell you what your options are.

At 8 weeks you have a number of weeks to make a clear decision and get the matter resolved either via the NHS or privately.
