Interesting has much more possibilities.

How can you even enjoy the attractiveness when you are falling asleep out of boredom?

Go with interesting. Looks tend to blur after a couple of years even if the person is still attractive. Having someone interesting is much better--ironically (given your question) being interesting is actually a quite attractive feature.

I agree with the person who said the interesting person would be the better partner for the long-term. You don't want to grow old with a bore. But when you're young and out looking for a good time, some short-term flings with a hott dullard isn't out of the question. :D

The unattractive but interesting person. If a person has qualities you admire, you usually find something attractive about him outside of traditional good looks. For example, I find Woody Allen attractive but he is not good looking in any way, shape, or form. I find him charming which endears me to his looks.

Interesting, you don't have to look at them, but hearing them is real hard to ignore.
