The Dresden Dolls.
It was the third single released by the Dresden Dolls in December of 1994 and is off the album "The Dresden Dolls."
The song was released as a single in December of 1994 on Roadrunner records. The single, "Coin Operated Boy" featured three tracks:
1. "Coin-Operated Boy" (Edit)
2. "Coin-Operated Boy" (Live At TT the Bears)
3. "Baby One More Time" (Live At Avalon)
The single ranked #12 in the Triple J Hottest 100, 2004.
The music video was directed by Michael Pope and the track even features a toy piano.
In July of last year Moron Comedy released a parody sketch entitled "Beer Operated Girl" which can be viewed here:
