As you might have heard - there is nothing good or bad only thinking makes it so. This complements your argument - if it is only thinking that determines whether something is good or bad then we can change our thoughts about things and make them look good, or bad if we wish to do so. This is exactly what propaganda campaigns are for. They influence our opinions and make us think in a specific way about things they promote. They have their own purpose that determines what is good and what is bad for them.
We are judgemental because at one point in life or the other we have been influenced such influences. The sources of these influences are countless. From personal prejudices to religion, the list is endless. Now the question is - why do we need convincing, and why persuasions work upon us? The reason is in the reality of our own existence – the way we are. The need for distinction between good and bad about a thing is not is not that of a thing, but essentially of ours.
All things we do have a purpose, or a reason behind for us doing it. Just try to do something without a purpose. You will realise that all things that we do have a purpose tied to them. And even the silliest of our actions have a reason or two behind them. We might not see it at times but there always are. If then everything has a purpose or a reason than that purpose can be in our favour or it can be against us. All things neutral when come within the circle of our life become so – against us or for us. We cannot decide what is good and what is bad in the world, but we must see and choose what is good for us, leaving aside what is not.

This is part of how our brains work. No, it's not that we all have an innate sense of good and evil... it's a lot more insidious than that.
Our brains have this great trick that helps us to understand the world around us - catagorization. Putting things into catagories makes it easier to make decisions. Here's why:
Everything you ever encounter (people, things, situations, everything) can be described in many different ways, have many different attributes (e.g. a particular task may be fun or boring, it may take a long while or a short while, it may require a hammer to complete or a screwdriver, etc). You have to make thousands of decisions every day, and every time you do your mind tries to consider all these different descriptions and how they interact. By catagorizing things, you can assign the same attributes to a whole bunch of different things (e.g. all these tasks are fun, while all of those tasks are boring), thus making your mental workload a bit lighter. This innovation is so successful that the mind tries to apply it to everything. Good and evil are just 2 catagories that are really successful, because they are somewhat all-encompassing. Anything you approve of you call "good". Anything you disapprove of, you call "evil". If someone disagrees with your assessment of good vs. evil, it's easy to just lump that person into your own "evil" category, and then you don't have to worry about what that person thinks - who cares what "evil" people think?
Hope this answers your question.

Unfortunately everything we do in life eventually affects something or someone else and we are judged. We can do the most selfless acts and feel good about out our selves but , as always there is one some one else who has an opinion which will confirm or disagree with your act. It is in our Human Nature to question and we all have an individual ethos we live by.Wrong or right its how it is.I say if you do something that is good a good turn say that helps some ones go for it .

The judgment is subjective, that is, it is viewed as good or evil or something in between by the person giving the opinion. If you ask someone else, the opinion may be different. For instance, if you are Catholic then divorce is a sin, if you aren't then it is not a sin. Society likes to dictate what your morality should be, the boundaries of good and evil if you want to state it that dramatically. You do not have to agree with it, in fact, if you question it that may mean that you are the only sane one in the group.

Well as human beings we feel better being able to classify things. It makes us feel more righteous. Yet it do you really think it's that small of a thing really. Just black and white? Ying and Yang? I would hope that we are a little more complicated then that.
There are some cultures that would let their child die before they gave them medication. Does that make them evil? To some people.. yes it is evil. But to them it is not. It is the righteous thing to do.

If you like something, then it's good.
If you don't like something then it's bad.
If you can't make up your mind, it's neither one nor the other. It's indifferent
Now here's the weird bit.
What you deem as good bad or indifferent is likely to be completely different to what I and the rest of the world deem to be good band and indifferent.
You see, we all put our goalposts in a different place.
So the placement of the bondaries between good, bad and indifferent is an extremely personal thing.
No one can dictate to you what is good, bad or indifferent because their goalposts are not the same as yours.
It would be like them telling you that you must never eat your favourite food because you're not allowed to like it anymore.
So in short, what I'm trying to say is that there is a middle ground if you want there to be one, and where that middle ground lies is entirely up to you. Just don't expect the rest of the world to agree with you.

A human that has not experienced baptism with fire will take the unconditional love of God and with the minds concepts of duality divide it into Good/evil up/down,right/wrong. in/out, positive/negative Etc. an devide emotions into conditional love/hate. God pronunced all things GOOD,the spirit of God within you urges you to be perfect and when you can't you will be frustrated.

Not everything "is" like that. There are some things that "just" are
what they are. Not good, not bad, they just "are." Like you go to the bathroom, it's not judged good or bad. You wake up and yawn, you see a bird, you pick up a piece of paper, you look in the mirror, you just do. Actions like, I donated money for cancer, that's good. You helped an old woman across the street, that's good. Then you went back when no one was looking, & you robbed her, that's bad. You blamed it on your identical twin, that's
between the two of "you!"

it all comes down to how you interpret your actions or views though i agree that it is sometimes hard to do something, only for someone to dictate to you whether what you're doing is good or bad in their eyes. i can understand why one would want to seek approval and why they beleive that this has to be the case. i suppose that with every single thing we do and say- no matter how big or small it is- it has a consequence that goes with it. we do or say things for a reason, although there are times where we do say or do things without thinking or having any rational thought as to why we went about saying or doing them in the first place. it is our job as human though to figure out and think for ourselves what we see as being acceptable, logical perhaps and legitimate in our own eyes.
by the way, good question!

Because everyone has an opinion and a mouth. We all operate from our own perspective, and that requires making judgement calls.
I think good and evil are pretty strong categories. There exists a lot of grey area inbetween.
