I would say more like intense braxton contractions. They get MUCH more intense close to labor....the week before I had my daughter...wow, they were few and far between, but they dropped me to my knees they were so bad. I don't think regular contractions start like that, but I am not sure since I was induced. I would actually call your doctor....better to be on the side of caution. Good Luck!

Sounds like the baby moving into position. I would say the real thing will be starting soon for you. Hopefully things go quickly and smoothly for you. Good luck!

you are probably just feeling the baby move around to get in to the birthing position. are you dilated any? it could be within the next 10 days or within the next 12 hours. when you go into labor you will know it. even if this is your first child you will know if it is labor or not. good luck and hope this helped, holly

could be the start or could be a practice run (Braxton Hicks). If they continue for an hour or 2, it's probably the real thing
