For the most part, I don't think so. Some people are just really sensitive, which is a good thing most of the time. I think there are also those who are just paranoid and/or over-dramatic. I think I'm on the border - super sensitive, especially if pms is kickin in!

i think they are just overly sensative, maybe they just have different standards of what is considered offensive from where they grew up, i think some also think that everyone is out to get them and find ways to apply a harmless joke to something that they went through

Yes and No. I get offended about off coloured pedophile jokes...I was molested. Am I crazy...NO, but I am sensitive and will never be alright with it.

No....everybody just has their own beliefs and when somebody tries to change them they retaliate....it's normal.
