Hi there, fairly new to the whole computing lark and wondered how sometimes I can have four or more internet tabs open but I cant seem to get two open intentionally? All I would like to do is open one i.e. Youtube for a song to listen to and then surf the net for other things i.e. Ebay whilst still listening to Youtube?
Each time I try it just goes from one to the other.
I know it can be done, just dont know how?
Many Thanks,

If you are talking about tabs in IE using the Yahoo toolbar, then you simply click the + sign beside the tab to open a new tab.

If however you simply want to open another browser window, go to File > New > Window (in IE)

If you want the tabbed ability in IE, go to companion.yahoo.com and grab it :) very nice add-on to IE

Best of luck!

see the little boxes in the top right hand corner?
The cross shuts the tab
the two boxes make it bigger or smaller
the line folds the page you have open down into a small rectangle at the bottom of the screen, to re-open tab click on the box at the bottom.

If you have IE, upgrade to Beta version, you can do this and it works - I normally have 4 or 5 tabs open at any one time with no problems.

If you have Firefox you just click on the "Open new tab button."

I've heard the new Internet Explorer has tabbed browsing, but I haven't used it yet.
