At this point, all you can really do is ice it to relieve the swelling and take tylenol or motrin (ibuprofen) for the pain. It'll be black and blue and swollen for a few days, and it'll hurt like heck, but then after the swelling and discoloration go down, you'll be able to pop it back into place.

use a metal splint/brace for you finger and cover that finger. Then what i did was squeez down tight until it kinda unjammed. Although if its jammed in you just have to pull out on it (hurts like hell) but it'll feel better in like an hour.

Don't push it trying to bend the darn thing.

Put a cold pack on it (20 minutes on then 20 minutes off) and take a couple of Tylenol, and avoid hitting it for a couple of days.

Ice it (15 min on and 15 off) and keep it elevated to reduce the swelling. Don't try and bend it, it might help to tape it to the next finger over to stabilize it.

Hate to tell ya. You might have a fracture in it. I would go get an xray. You might even have a brake at the joint. Don't mess with that.

That's why you should have gone to the doctor. They need to xray it to see if you fractured the finger and they could pull it back for you. DON'T try it yourself. If it is fractured....you'll just make it worse.

Ice it and give it a couple of days. If it doesnt get better in a couple of days go to a dr. It might be broken.
