Cat's aren't really interested in eating mice. Just catching them and playing with them.
Dometstic cats need only the thrill of the hunt, not the taste of mouse fur.

I understand where you're coming from -we eat cows, ducks, chickens, sheep, ect.- but this bothers me. I have two rats, and I love them with all my heart. If something ever happened to them my world would shatter, just like someone who loves their cat, dog, or child. Would you make puppy-flavoured food for dinosaurs if it was possible? Would you give up YOUR pet?

Because i think they only like to chase them, and only eat them when they need to survive. Plus, i think its really difficult to extract the smell and flavor of mouse. lol :)

This is a perfectly logical, but somehow really disturbing idea.
