As a teen I had clarivoient abilities. I woud have dreams of events weeks prior to them happening...Kind of like deja vu. After moving out of my parents house and in with my now husband, the abilities just dissipated. Every now and then I have the dreams but they are far and few between. Is there a why I can regain them or harnis them in some way or is there a way I can lear how to use them? I really would like it back and maybe stronger than before.

My parents have since sold and moved out of the house. So going back is next to impossible. I am beginning to think it was a combination of loaction and the life changing event due to I lived at home till I was about 20. So even though I was in college, I still had this ability up until I moved out

Different places have different energies that can either help or hinder your connection with the paranormal. Also, as our lives get busier it's harder to get your mind in a quiet place so that you can remember your dreams. It might be that the frequency hasn't diminished, but that you are just not remembering the dreams when you wake up.

Setting up intentions for your mind is very powerful in this case. Before you go to bed at night try and create a relaxed environment. Calm your thoughts and repeat to yourself, "I will remember my dreams with clarity when I wake." Then spend 10 minutes when you first wake in the morning trying to recall what you dreamed the night before. A dream journal can help if you wake in the middle of the night. Keep a pen and notepad or journal next to your bed and when you wake from a dream jot down some key thoughts to trigger your memory of the dreams the next morning.

If you like to hit the snooze button, that's probably hindering you too. When you fall back asleep after the alarm goes off you're loosing all the inforamtion from the night before.

Also, try surrounding your sleeping area with gemstones that help you remember your dreams, like Scolecite, Malacite, and Dioptase. These stones can help produce the same energies you may have had naturally in your parents' house.

The trouble is you are busier now than you were then. As a youth under the wings of parental support and protection you could let your mind open to that possibilities. Now as an adult other things have cluttered the path - home, finances, relationship, goals, etc. It is difficult to have a gift such as this fade but it is a sad reality. You could try yoga or some other meditation but that may cause you to feel as if you are abandoning something else - see what I mean. The more you chase it the further away it goes. When your life becomes more secure and stable again -the dreams may return. Don't fret and concentrate on what you can control like your career and relationship. Once your life is in balance you will find a deeper meaning and perhaps be even more open to the messages in your dreams.

I think it probably had to do with your parents house. I get that sometimes too, it's really wierd, but it comes and goes. As far as harnesing it, that's a tough one, I kind of look at it like if it happens theres a reason it happens, so try and just leave it for now, and see if it comes back on it's own. (Try sleeping at your parents house, that may help.)

Yes this is a weird feeling maybe you can find a way to learn to take advantage of your dreams. It seems like deja vu a lot to me as well! Maybe meditating would help.

As a teen, I experienced the same thing. A freaky sort of foresight and dejavu. As with you, it slowed and then came to a stop as I got older and after the wife and kids. Once the marriage was over, I took a journey that involved spiritual services (not religious), fasting, prayer, and meditation. I did not indulge in the desires of the flesh as well. I was suprised to find that I started getting the same sense of dejavu I experienced as a teen, but they soon dissipated after I indulged in worldly pleasures.

I think that the only thing you're missing is the youthful naivete of a teenager.

You couldn't. You can't.
Sorry, but that's the way it is.
