If you were honest you would realize and admit that to leave Iraq at this time would be an even bigger blunder. The intentions in going into Iraq were honorable. Unfortunately it was a mistake due to not understanding the culture of the area. That culture has begun to change now and abandoning the situation would leave many Iraqi citizens to certain torture and death. It would leave the insurgents in charge and it would give Iran a terrible stronghold in the Middle East. Iran is the real problem, not Iraq.

Well...i am very much against the war, but I think that Saddam Hussein did need to be removed from power. Despite this, us attacking them was certainly not the way to do it, and this mistake was compounded by G.W's lies. We made our greatest mistake by not utilizing the tremendous advantage of precision weapons. I think that the best way to acheive our goal would have been to kill Hussein, and then, while keeping our distance, influence the people to choose a leader that we approve of. This whole "push democracy on others" thing won't work. What ever happened to walk softly and carry a big stick? All we're doing is blundering around breaking all the china with a baseball bat...Now that we have created this mess, I dont know what we should do. There are definite reasons to pull out, but definite reasons to stay. This was never about terrorism, so that excuse is (and always was) a cover that no one saw through.

If you set your house on fire one day by mistake, do you stay inside while it burns down or get out?
This isn't a fair analogy, but it's similar to what Bush is doing in Iraq. The Iraqi situation blew up in his face, and he won't admit it. I just wonder how many more young America soldiers are going to pay for that mistake with their lives.

The Israeli government prayed for the attack on Iraq, which has eliminated the strategic threat posed by Iraq. America was pushed into the war by a group of Neo-Conservatives, almost all of them Jews, who had a huge influence on the White House. In the past, some of them had acted as advisers to Binyamin Netanyahu

Pulling out is NOT an option. What's that going to do? We made the mess, and now we need to clean it up.
Saying that Iraq is a mistake isn't going to help anything. The war is going on, and we can't just pretend it didn't happen. Regardless of the mistake, we have to fix the problems we made.
Unfortunately, there are no solutions. If we leave, they are going to stay in a civil war. If we stay, who knows what will happen. We may we well turn Iraq into a US colony.

I can be honest and say Iraq was a mistake, but you won't hear the people in charge say that.... As for bringing the boys home...well, they can't just leave. The whole country is destabilizing. If we leave, we leave a power vacuum. Another dictator steps up, we have to go back..... Why don't we just plant an American flag and call it the 51st state.....

Actually it was PLANNED by the Dumbya Coup BEFORE the WTC attack. Blunder, more like debecle, in terms of the consequences for most of the people of the USA, but VERY profitable for Halliburtion et al. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

No. It was not a mistake. The mistake would have been to just let Hussein continue to refuse to follow direction from world sources.
We did the job - bring our boys/girls home. Let them mange their own affairs now. Fighting in the Middle East will continue until the end of time, as it has from the beginning of time.
Now we need to continue our battle with terrorism, but not with countries as a whole. Individuals. As we do other criminals - one by one.

It wasn't A mistake it was a HUGE mistake.
But how can we cut and run leaving a country in civil war? That would be a mistake too. We need a plan for withdrawing.
