why do actors and actresses get all the fame and money?

It is unfair, but we are the ones who have created it by going to their movies in droves. The film makers want to make money, so they find out who is the most popular. They have to pay them a lot more than less popular. This is also true with sports. They both get paid to much for what they are giving to society. This is just a weakness of our society. Price is based on supply and DEMAND.

I tell you what, if I had a chance i would sooooo do it!! I think that is because they are such public icons and the world has become soooo material that if you are seen on TV you are GOD in thier eyes now. PLUS....it isnt all fun and games man. They lose thier lives when they become famous. They cant take a dump without someone there asking for a autograph or pappi on thier case!! They work 16 and more hour days!! And they do the same lines over and over and over again. I know it seems that they are beautiful and have riches, but I think the world sees the riches and then think they are beautiful. Seriously....would u think Napoleaon was cute if it werent for him having money now?? LOL

I don't understand this either. There are MANY GREAT actors that aren't well known.
They continue to "recycle" the same ole celebs over and over. Why not give an unemployed, yet talented actor a job.
I guess they sign a contract saying they'll film x amount of movies.
I get totally sick of seeing the same faces over and over.

maybe because there are always cameras on them and people are willing to pay lots of money to see their movies!!! other people aren't famous becuase they are not on camera... Think about it! And as for the money...there are plenty more people out there that are just as rich, but aren't famous.

I think it's because they have a special talent that not everyone can do easily, and people are willing to pay to see them! :-)
