What European country should I choose for a geography project?

The Netherlands. It's a really interesting place with all sorts of interesting geographical features. The busiest port in Europe (I think) really good air links to the rest of the world. Fabulous canals that drain huge parts of the country as well as being used to move goods around, the old rhine still flows through parts of it, dykes, polders, railway stations built on piles, a chain of interesting sand-spit islands with some really odd breeds of sheep on them an international market in flowers and plants and if you are planning to go there as part of this project then almost everyone speaks good english and german (and the food is lekker - if you are not vegetarian).

Switzerland has a fascinating history, stretching back 30'000 years, it is one of the most diverse (climate-wise) countries on this earth, for instance, The Ticino Canton (A canton is the Swiss equivalent of a Province or State)(Ticino is pronounced Ti-chi-no/Tichino) has a very Mediterranean climate, whilst my Canton, Vaud, can get VERY chilly.

We are also one of the most international countries in Europe, we have people in our country from every continent.
