Americans drive on the right and tend to stay on the right side of walkways, stairs, etc. Just wondered if the English do the same, but on the left.

On the tube (train)escalators you must stand on the right to let people walk down on the left

So I guess, yes, people walk on the left side

That's a unique question. Americans tend to walk on the right since they drive on the right.
I wish people wouldn't be smart aleck and just answer the question. I wonder if the English walk on the left since they drive on the left.

genuine, i'm able to't write with my left hand in any respect! yet I do various issues with my left hand, interestingly i'm left hand eye co-ordinated. Or genuine, whichever is the choice of what genuine handers could desire to be! I open doors, carry luggage and do maximum stuff with my left hand.

Oh Yeh! It's law...especially on escalators....don't come to the UK unless you know the rules....you could wind up in jail.
