I feel as if i have no adreniline anymore, i barley get angry at all, im barley ever really glad or happy, im not really sad or depressed, and i dont really love anyone prior to my last break-up is there a clinical fact of lossing emotion and turning in to a robot like being, if you will? What is the part of brain that gives emotions?

Yes it's called depression. A lot of times stress can contribute too. A lot of people think there is something wrong with them and describe the same things you do and they are depressed, they just don't realize it or want to admit it to themselves. There is no one part of the brain that is soley responsible for emotions. Take one of those online quizzes to determine whether you are depressed or not and take it in to your physician or go see a mental health professional. Losing emotionality is not a good or healthy thing and you should seek help for it.

Perhaps you are just not as emotional as most people. Is doesn't mean that there's anything terribly wrong with you. You say that you're not really sad or depressed, and I personally think that love is overrated. But if you want to feel more, maybe you should branch out more and try some new things. If your temperament is really troubling to you, maybe you should go to the doctor for neurological testing. I think the amygdala is the part of the brain most directly responsible for emotion. Maybe yours is damaged less active than most. I don't how old you are, but perhaps your hormonal levels are declining with age, leaving you with less of a zest for life (and probably a decreased libido). I don't know, but I think its time for you to do a little introspective investigation.

What you are feeling could be caused by a whole list of things. Maybe you are just not getting enough, nutrients, sleep or exercise, maybe even sunlight. I live up in the far north, and I get these feelings every winter.

If you think it is more serious I would recommend talking to a doctor, who can really help you out, and will be able to explain the working of the brain better than anyone here can in a paragraph or two.

I don't know about the science kind of stuff, but I'd say nobody's able to lose their emotions. Your problem might be that your life's just in a phase without many ups and downs, simple straight if you want to call it that. There's no need to get angry or sad, love will come eventually by itself too. You just need to look around and look at the small details in your life that make it worth living. Soon you might start seeing that even these little things give you a sense of happiness.

There is a condition called "flat affect" if one does not show the signs of normal emotion, perhaps may speak in a monotonous voice, have diminished facial expressions, and appear extremely apathetic. The emotions seem to be 'lost'. There's also times when we just are able to deal without feeling much of anything and like someone said, maybe you're just going through a boring stage...but no matter, if you're worried about it...seek help.

No, you haven't. Spend time around an autistic person and you will see that your range of emotions, even when saddened, is pretty broad.

the portions of the brain/nervous system that control emotions is huge. a lot of it is wrapped up in endorphins and you don't "lose" the ability to create or be affected by them without some enormous physical stress (severe accident, life-threatening illness, etc.) Being "down" because of a break-up doesn't do it.

Oh I know exactly how you feel. Your numb and all of your actions and outgoing emotions seem fake. I'm there too but I've just gotten used to it. Maybe you should go see someone. they will tell you what part of the brain that emotions come from plus maybe they can help you fell again. It wouldn't hurt.

That is called apathy. It can happen with too much stress or with depression. The loss of emotion takes all of the color out of life. You probably need professional help to find treatment.
