i love romantic comedies. they are light and fun, and usually have a happy ending. i think we could all use a break from reality sometimes.. and its always refreshing to watch a romantic comedy

You didn't mention these in your list but my my favorite genres are "Disaster" like "Poseidon Adventure", "Earthquake" & the "Towering Inferno". I also like the "Nature strikes back" genre like "Jaws", "Frogs", & "Grizzly". Movies of those genres are few & far between and I miss them. Sure wish they'd make a come- back.
