I mean Earnhardt-Childress dominated between 1980-1994 just in those 14 years they won 7 championships. And Gordon-Everham they also were had it all in their hands between 1995-2001, I mean they won 4 championships in that 7 year spand. I know Richard Petty was dominate for a while to, but all I know is he got 7 championships. I don't have any idea on what years he won them. But you get the point, do you think there'll ever be such a great team combination such as them in the future?

NASCAR has ruined the sport with parity. The only way a team could dominate is not get caught cheating for a long time.

There will be one or two but right now there is not a team that has jelled to be this power.Sure some day there will be but right now there is not.
Today there are several teams that close but they have not reached that point of being a dynasty. With the influx of drivers from other forms of motorsports the super teams are not going to be built over they years but as a ready made super team. The run for RoY and championships will be less of a challenge. But it is the economics of the owners to make money on a ready made superstar. But for the true motorsports fan we will will cheer for our favorites and hope that a run of 3 or 4 championships for one driver will happen.
But until then cheer for your favorite wnd have fun,and hope they are the next superstar.

gordon never raced for evernham, in the ray evernham being the owner sence, but yes, he was his crew cheif

i dont think there will be any more totally dominant drivers, for sure, otehr than a handful of drivers, im betting we wont see a 3+ time champ for about 20 years. tony stewart could prove me wrong next year, but he is in that very small group of guys who could win it very single year. right along with jimmie johnson and matt kenseth

I think that the domination days are over. The competition is so close that no one is going to be able to dominate like they used to.
