Since Louisville beat WVU, that pretty much ended WVU's chances at the BCS title game, but what if say Rutgers beats Louisville(very possible) and then WVU beats Rutgers? Doesn't matter between OSU and Michigan-the winner of that game will go to the BCS title game. If all of this happens there will be a lot of 1-loss teams. Who is most likely to go, and why?

for those of you that think there will be a Michigan/Ohio State rematch in the BCS, not gonna happen. BCS is a three part formula-coaches poll, Harris poll, and computer rankings. Whoever loses the game will lose to much ground to regain since they play so late in the season. If they would've played at the front of the season it could've been likely. Also, the title game has nothing to do with t.v. ratings-the BCS formula picks the teams, not the networks.

Only 2 logical choices between the 1 loss teams if Ohio St. beats Michigan. There would only be two 1 loss teams whose only loss was to the #1 team in the country. Michigan, but they lose to Ohio St to late in the year so the human polls probably drop them to far. I'm not sure if anyone is going to want to see that rematch so soon again. There should only be one other logical choice:

The Texas/Ohio St rematch in the desert for all the marbles. Of course, this requires the BCS to be logical.

If Michigan beats Ohio St, who knows.

Here is what I think will happen. I agree with you about the loser of the OSU Mich game. too late for #2.
If Florida and Auburn win out and play in the sec championship game then that winner will play Ohio State (if they get by mich) The strenght of schedule will carry them over everyone else. There is a big gap right now between 2 and 3 but that will close. If Louisville. rutgers lose 1 and Florida and Auburn drop then a 1 loss Texas will probably sneak in.

after Thursday this question will be irrelevant, Louisville beats Rutgers. GO CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is our year.

but i'll still humor you. Florida gets beat by Arkansas in the SEC title game so they're out. Rutgers has no chance to get to Arizona given their current ranking in the BCS, even a win over #3 Louisville does not bump them up enough, sucks, but that's the BCS. but your question says that WVU beats them. so after Florida loses (again....) the choice is obvious: Texas vs Ohio St./Michigan winner BCS title game (it will be Ohio St.)

Florida probably has the best shot at being a one loss team in the NC game. this is because they have a hard schedule, and they will play in the SEC championship game, which will give them a late win against a good team. but I would argue that Texas deserves it since their only loss was to OSU early on.

they shouldn't do a rematch. Why have a NC game that has already been played. that is why I think Florida would be the best choice.

some of these people are really clueless...whoever loses the osu/msu game will drop to around 6th in the bcs and will have virtually no shot at the title game. that's why it's better to lose early than late...take a look at USC.

anyways, i think it will be louisville. my guess is they'll jump florida even if the gators beat vanderbilt saturday. and, if louisville beat rutgers...which i think they will...i don't think it'll matter if florida wins out and beats auburn in the sec title game.

A lot of ifs but my guess would be if the Louisville does not win out then the winner of the SEC Championship if they are a 1 loss team will probably get the nod.

it could't be Bama and LSU for the SEC. The SEC East winner replaced into desperate to be Georgia. because it stands good now, the West winner would be LSU. in spite of the undeniable fact that, if LSU loses to Arkansas and Alabama beats Auburn, that situation will exchange yet I won't circulate into it right here. as a methods because of the fact the national Championship, because it stands now, it is going to likely be LSU and Alabama (a million & 2 interior the BCS rankings) yet lower back, that would reshuffle next weekend and lower back after the SEC championship activity.

I have no doubt that if michigan beats osu.... it will be michigan #1 osu #2 if michigan loses..... it will be osu#1 michigan #2. If you think that it's all about the teams and thier record, you're nuts.... it's all about ratings..... what two teams will sell the most tickets, and who will everybody want to watch play. How do you think it was last year when fsu played penn state. people watcked it because they have two of the most winningest coaches.

Florida (if they win out) would go to the big one (if your scenario takes place) based on their strength of schedule. They would play either Michigan or Ohio State for the National Championship.
