Well 20/13 is EXCELLENT vision. 20/20 is considered normal.
Mine is 20/10 in one eye and 20/20 in the other. 20/40 does not require glasses.
The top number is always 20. The bottom number refers to your ability. For example, a person with 20/40 vision can see with the same clarity at 20 feet what a person with normal vision can see at 40 feet.
A person with 20/100 vision has the same clarity at 20 feet that a normal person has at 100 feet, so this person would be in serious need of glasses.
So your friend can see something that is 20 feet away as good as a person with normal vision can see it at 13 feet away.

If you went to an eye docter to get your eyes tested, than you would know. Yes, I do have 20\20 vision. It all depends on faraway objects and close objects too, it can be different for everyone. If you think her vision is better than yours, then your vision might be below hers.
