Not really sure about that one.

One question back to you though, why have you not gone for the one you were due for?

I go for mine regularly, and recently had pre-cancerous cells found. Not pleasant, but had them removed and a year later now have the all clear! Yippee!

Go to the docs PLEASE - so many women don't take this risk seriously when we all should realise the enemy within.

Take care.

i was due for a smear test while pregnant and my midwife told me that you cannot haveone while pregnant and to wait untill the baby is born. This is in UK, am confused with other answers saying yes as this was only last year, maybe they from US.
You do not routinely have a smear test while pregnant at all.

No not while pregnant. You can have one done at your six week post check after baby is here.
If you wont listen to me - see wiganb's answer. You cant have one while pregnant beause it may cause problems for you or baby. My daughter is pregnant and the other has just delivered a baby - the medical staff dont even like giving an internal unless crucial nowadays. All those that answered yes are wrong.

I would wait. If anything shows, probably no treatment would be done until the baby came.
