Think about why you have allowed him back into your life. Whatever he did before, do you have actual proof that he has changed and wants a healthy relationship with you? If so, sit down with your parents and explain it to them. You need to be very specific and address what he did before to break your heart and why you feel he has changed and deserves a second chance. They may just not understand your reasons and after talking with you, they might feel that you know what you are doing. Also reassure them that if he starts going bad again, then you will break up with him. Also, if he wasn't around your family a lot the first time, trying to bring him in to family time might help your parents to get to know him better (and eventually like him). They have your best interests at heart, so don't expect them to warm to him immediately. Remember, they saw how hurt you were before and don't want you hurt again. He'll have to prove himself to them, but if he does, that bodes well for his sincerity and the quality of your relationship. Good luck!

You can't. You can ask them to respect your decision, but parents are gonna be protective of their childs feelings, especially your father. The only person who can make them feel some form of admiration is your boyfriend. But he'll have to start by sticking around this time.

You can't. Parents are protective. Do you have younger siblings? Imagine one of them re-dating someone who broke their heart. You would worry and be skeptical of the guy.

Just tell them how you feel about him and tell them if they love you then they should be able to forgive and show some love to him and let the pass be the pass. And you would give anything for them to let it go because you did and thats the good thing about it at least you let it go. If they don't wanna do it that way then tell them you love them and you have to go on.

You can't make them like him. After all, they are your parents and they too went through your breakup (or whatever) with you. All parents know is that someone hurt their little girl, sorry but that's how us parents are...it's called LOVE

get your boyfriend a lobotomy. otherwise, he is going to have to prove himself worthy to them for your parents to ever like him.
parents aren't fond of people who break their kid's hearts...
he can get back into their good graces, but it's going to take a lot of effort and time. AND sincerity.

hey help me to..... I have an ex that i want back, but from what he did to me in the past no one likes him anymore.. They think he is crazy, but i think different. I still have feelings for him... honestly u gotta do like what it is i need to do and havent yet.. u gotta tell them how u feel.. Im trying to work up the balls to myself, but havent made it that far yet...

You can explain to them how you feel, but if they dont except him at first, give them time. He broke your heart, girl, don't fall for him if you think he will do it agian. Give it time, dont rush things, if things are meant to go foward, they will.

let him prove himself, if he really cares about he wouldn't have a problem with that. No one wants to see their kids get hurt over and over again. Maybe you should think twice.
