Never. And I'm one of these CR's they're always bashing around here (and always have been)!
I do think the media should have waited for some evidence other than the word of a drug-using prostitute.

No, I haven't either. I find Tofu Jesus' comment peculiar though. I watch the History Channel every night, and I don't remember Ted Haggart on any of its shows.
Unless, he is in those weird UFO or strange Apocalyptic ones.
I don't watch those. :)

He doesn't get much coverage in the mainstream media, but he's very influential. Well...he was. Supposedly, he participated in conference calls with Bush on a regular basis. You may not have heard of him, but this really is a big story for a lot of people.

Nope, but being the heathen that I am I pay little attention to evangelical ministries. Never heard much about Mark Foley before his 'scandal' either. But it's funny how these things always tend to magically pop up just before an election, and it's always "concerned citizens" who bring it to light, never any Democrats (rolls eyes).

I'm pretty sure I hadn't. However he has Bush's ear so that makes him significant. He just admitted to buying the meth but he never actually used it. It's sort of like when Clinton said he tried pot but didn't inhale.

Regularly, I live in Colorado Springs.
But I think the timing of the thing is interesting.
I'm sorry we've all become so poorly behaved and selfish.
Edit: it can have long-reaching ramifications with our election.

He came like an explosion.
Who would have thought that George Dubya and Haggard would be best buds.

Me either. I still can't figure out how his ugly actions are of interest to the vast majority of us. I feel bad for his family if it is true, but it doesn't affect my life much.
