well the only way your guarenteed not to get the solo is if you dont try, so you might as well give it a try, you have nothing to lose

Practice Practice Practice, the more you know the song, the less chances you have of messing up, then you can focus on other things like your expressions....I know I try out for solos all the time

You should try out tell the teacher up front that you are nervous, that usally breaks the ice and will help calm you down. remember if you get the part you will be so happy and wonder why you didnt try eariler. If you dont do it you will never know.

BEEN THERE! Dont be nervous, that will only hurt your performance. JUST go in there show them what you got babe, and give it your all. Nerves dont make it in that kinda business. Trust me.

well if u no ur good walk in the place like u no ur gonna win but DON'T BE TO COCKY cause then u could mess up and its all over so u no if u can sing or not if u can't sing wit all ur heart but if u no u have talent then use it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
