it doesnt lose its nutrition, the only thing that happens when you warm milk is germs will breed quicker ( but your son wont get germs he s old enough to fight them off!) my son is nearly 2 and i warm his milk!
p.s. if your son wants warm milk then dont stop him having it my friend stopped her son having warm milk then he wouldnt have any at all, so let him have it, dont listen to all these people telling you he shouldnt be having warm milk!!

I wouldn't say it kills any nutrition, but they don't even recommend giving new borns warm formula (room temp only) why would you still warm it for a 17 month old? Even in the summer? Kinda gross, my daughter loves cold juice, water and formula (she uses the step 2 because it's closer to breast feeding). She is 13 months old.......I would say he is a little old for that anwyays, never mind anything else.

No, but it becomes more apt to breed germs and bacteria unless it's in a container. Warmed milk releases tryptophan - the chemical that makes you drowsy.

You can kill some of the natural enzymes in it. The enzymes are essential in good digestion.
