it's possible. some women encounter this and this is why they get their prenatal care later because since they think they're getting their period, they don't think that they're pregnant. Take a test to be sure and if it comes back negative, test again because your hcg may be too low to detect.

I don't think you can get your period, but if it is early in your pregnancy, it could be implantation bleeding. This can happen when a fertilized egg reaches your uterus and "settles in". Implantation usually occurs 7 to 9 days after conception, so it would around 1 week before your period is due if your cycles were 28 days' cycles...
The one time I was pregnant I had implantation bleeding exactly 1 week before I was expecting my period.
If the bleeding is later on the pregnancy, it might be a sign that something is wrong... a miscarriage in the worst case scenario or maybe a problem with the placenta.
So... my advice would be to go see your doctor, he can help you find out is happening in your case.
All the best!

Yes! Of course. Not many women do in comparison I guess, but it is VERY common for that to happen. Ussually this doesn't last much past the 1st - 3rd months though. I had 1 with all three of my children and spotting for several months with the first two. However, as a precaution you should call your OB or MD immediatly for some tests to be run. B/C this could be also a sign of miscarraige or many other problems.
Good luck and God Bless.

You may only get spotting if you are gregnant. Very few women will have a full period while pregnant. If you know you are pregnent and your bleeding you should go to the hospital as soon as possible. If you do not know you are pregnant you should take a test. Your urine will still pass hormones if you are pregnant.

Sure can! I had some bleeding at the beginning of my last pregnancy. It was lighter than usual & didn't last long which is why I did a pregnancy test!
