Because he has no conscience and doesn't feel that what he did was wrong. The only thing he's sorry about is getting caught.

You the victim of betrayal have right to questions if the spouse ever loved them, and if so, what they might have done to lose it. It is as if the your has thrown dirt in the river of your marriage contaminating the water behind you and before you.
To recover from trauma, a you have a natural tendency to go back to the traumatic experience, questioning, going over details repetitiously: “What did you do? Where? When? How often?” You must go over the events until the emotional distress caused by them becomes manageable. You must reach a point where they feel there are no more surprises.
Evidentely your husband wants to get things over quickly, after admitting to their infidelity. He must develop empathy for what you are experiencing, and be willing to live with the pain of guilt, until genuine healing can occur. In addition, he must may learn something about them self in the questioning process. He must may begin to see their own motives, vulnerabilities, and selfishness. Evidently he is far away from seeing it, and therefore i do not think that your marriage will survive. If both of you can tolerate and control the emotions involved, you may come to a joint understanding of how the infidelity occurred, signaling the beginning of a more substantial level of recovery. Recovery usually takes 1 to 3 years.

Rarely are people sorry for an affair, they are only sorry they got caught. If he is not sorry, then that is a very strong warning that he is not in love with you and you need to take a long hard look at what you are involved in. Does he value you? Does he value your relationship? Does he honor you? Does he honor your bed? You need to really consider moving on, he sounds like trash.

Hello Moi, I am sorry that happened to you. And if he does not care about or does not want to see the pain he caused you then it is time to think about divorce. The worst part is that the affair is probably not over. He has probably found a way of seeing that person but in a more secluded, secretive and sneaky way or manner. Do not let him continue to hurt your heart honey. This is a sensitive subject,,,,,,,,, good luck.

How about this -- he's a pig !
He only cares about himself, his needs, his wants..... Was he thinking of you when he was having the affair? Was he practicing safe sex ? Isn't he putting you at risk ?
How did you find out ? Did he tell you ?
ASK HIM WHY HE CHEATED? Ask him why he isn't sorry!

Yep, move on girl. It's not going to be worth the pain trying to fix a broken relationship that will never be as good as it once was. This dude didn't respect you, he's showing that he still doesn't respect you.
You already know.you should kick his butt to the curb, you don't need to ask a bunch of bums on Yahoo to know what to do.

Let him go. Honestly if you have chosen to remain with him and he is not giving it his all to make it right, you need to let him go. It's almost like another slap in the face if he is not even sorry. You deserve better.

why should he be sorry. it's completely natural for a guy to bed as many women as possible. i'm sure that wasn't the only time and it won't be the last....it's just how we are.

Either he does not love your, or he has no conscience (or both). Neither possibility bodes well for the future of your relationship.
