I'm pale and I want to be tanned, but every tanner I've used has just made me orangish...any ideas or products that won't make me look like I just stepped out of a pumpkin?!

You might try "Mystic" or a spray on tan that you do in a salon. I have seen people that have it done with very positive results. I don't know how much it costs, but, it lasts for about three weeks without streaking. And, the process does entail having you stand to be sprayed all over.

I use Build-A-Tan by Neutrogena and it gradually builds a tan to give me a natural sunkissed glow. It takes about a week though to get some color showing. But make sure you apply only lightly to your knees because it will turn you orange there. Only on your knuckles though so make sure you wash your hands good with soap after you apply. I would also reccomend you stand with your arms and legs not touching for about five minutes until it dries so you don't create orange spots. Otherwise it's a great product!

try natural tanning with the sun and stuff... but at this time of year it might not be possible. it would be cool tho if you owned a green house. you could tan in there

Hi. I know just what you mean. And if you are fair then it may happen with streaks too. The leopard effect. Have you tried the salons and had it done? I would like to know too. Thanks.
