Imodium (Loperamide) works well for diarrhea.
The generic name for donnagel is attapulgite. Other brand names include Diar-Aid; Diarrest; Diasorb; Diatrol; Fowler's; K-Pek; Kaopectate; Kaopek; Parepectolin; Rheaban.

What can be used to stop cramping; i.e, from a stomach virus? Yes, those other products can stop/slow the 'trots,' but what about the stomach cramps? Anything to deal with that, even a 'home' remedy?

Ask your doctor. They'll be able to prescribe something. Not sure what's going on. Antibiotics can cause diarrhea....but they usually don't causes cramping.
