i wake up to go pee in the middle of the night and I haven't even had children yet! I guess I need to cut off fluids hours and hours before bedtime. i just get too thirsty.

Silence used to wake me up when I lived at my apartment. I lived on a busy street so there was constant noise of cars passing. Maybe twice in a 24 hour period, no cars would pass for a few seconds. When that happened in the middle of the night, I would wake up. Weird huh?
Now I wake up when my baby cries.

I have the same problem, always getting up in the middle of the night to go to the washroom, it's probably because I drink too much water before I head to bed.
Other than that, it's the phone that USED to wake me up. But that's what the ringer feature is for... OFF!

The guy who lives downstairs and three apartments over. He and his friends generally roll in about 2:30 AM, drunk as heII, with the car stereo up so loud that it rattles every window on my side of the building, and proceed to yell, fight, crash into things, and pretty much make as much noise as they can on their way into their apartment. Then they turn on the home stereo.
They're friends with the landlord, that's why I don't complain.

Only when i have to go the bathroom is when i wake up & that doesn't stop me from drinking before bedtime.

that's not unusual especially if you drink alcohol. but i wake up in the middle of the night when my boyfriend gets out of bed and gets on the computer when he can't sleep.
