I'm going to try to work my way through the boobie-traps and get to the heart of this question without offending people. Wish me luck.
Homosexuals are people who are sexually attracted to people of the same sex. There is a bit of a debate lately about whether homosexuality is an inherent trait- just the way some people are- or if it is a behavior- meaning actually having sex with someone of the same sex. I don't feel like taking a side in that debate in this answer. The point is that homosexuality was for many years a "dirty little secret" that gays kept hidden from others. So heterosexuals came up with a list of "symptoms" to try to guess whether someone was secretly gay. The things your crush enjoys are apparently on someone's list of "symptoms of gayness". So you are dealing with people who think they can know something about your crush by things that don't really have anything to do with his sexuality. And they've talked so much that now they've got YOU wondering.
If he's a guy and he's interested in a girl (you), he isn't gay.
As far as I can tell.
You'll help his reputation by being his girlfriend. You'll get to be good with your comebacks to the question. Try not to be too mean.
Many completely "straight" guys are a little, shall we say, sensitive. I love women and I can still enjoy an occasional bubble bath or a piece of music from a Broadway show.
But I refuse to ever do the YMCA dance. That's just me.

Ask him out and don't worry about it. If he says no, then you can move on. A straight guy who doesn't want to date you is equivalent to being gay cuz either way you're not getting your man. But yeah, sounds like he's got some gay tendencies. Maid in Manhattan?!?!? That's so girly I won't even watch it.

Liking guys is the only thing that makes a guy gay or bi, I've known feminine straight guys and masculine gay guys, and vice versa.

These are two tiny feminine traits, so that does not mean he is gay. You should be open when talking to him and see what you guys have in common. As long as this is not an interest in men that you share, you should go for it!

He's in touch with his feminine side no big! But if you see him checking out another guy then you should worry. But he's had girlfriends so I doubt he's gay. Good luck gettin' your man!
