I don't think any republican truly believes that there are Americans who support terrorism, be they Democrat, independent, or any other political party member.
I don't agree with the republican view for the future of my country, but I do believe that we all are smart enough to know that no citizen wants to see the destruction of our homes and families. Anger and frustration can cause incredibly stupid words to be spewed out without thinking, but when all is said and done, our strength has always lied in reacting to turmoil united as one people, ready to work together.
I know this sounds very lofty and naive perhaps, but I think I can prove my point.
Just hours after the horror of the morning of 9-11, with all the speculation and confusion and fear of who was to blame, and what the heck was going on, the first thing Americans did was to donate blood. In every state, donor centers were more than overwhelmed with the response of citizens hoping they could help save lives. Our countrymen first and foremost came to the aid of not strangers, not left or right wingers, not rich or poor, not straight or gay, but fellow countrymen.
Any voice on radio, cable, network, or print media can try to divide, but the actions of my fellow citizens have, and will, prove them wrong. No one can scare Americans into believing it's all about us vs them. We are all, way to smart and honor driven to fall for that.

JERUSALEM – Everybody has an opinion about next Tuesday's midterm congressional election in the U.S. – including senior terrorist leaders interviewed by WND who say they hope Americans sweep the Democrats into power because of the party's position on withdrawing from Iraq, a move, as they see it, that ensures victory for the worldwide Islamic resistance.
In a recent interview with CBS's "60 Minutes," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, stated, "The jihadists (are) in Iraq. But that doesn't mean we stay there. They'll stay there as long as we're there."
Pelosi would become House speaker if the Democrats win the majority of seats in next week's elections.
WND read Pelosi's remarks to the terror leaders, who unanimously rejected her contention an American withdrawal would end the insurgency.
Islamic Jihad's Saadi, laughing, stated, "There is no chance that the resistance will stop."
He said an American withdrawal from Iraq would "prove the resistance is the most important tool and that this tool works. The victory of the Iraqi revolution will mark an important step in the history of the region and in the attitude regarding the United States."

By showing sniper footage on CNN.
By saying they are freedom fighters when in fact they are murderers.
By hamstringing us with PC ideology.
By challenging the Patriot act
By outting secret programs that actually work
By claiming before an election that this republican is a ogre
