What issues are most important to you? Does the person/people you are voting for have 100% backing from you or are they just the lesser of the two evils. Will you be voting along strict party lines or will you branch out and maybe vote for one or two of the other side?
Please provide reasons and maybe the state you are in. Thank you.

I've already voted. This time with an absentee ballot. I thought things might get a little hectic with the new systems we're using.

I'm from Ohio. Our state is just not going anywhere. It is in the worst shape ever. Jobs are few, housing is at a stand still and people are moving out like herds of cattle. We need a change.

We have had a Rep governing system for a long time - change meant voting for Dem's. That's what I did. I am in no way a Dem or Rep at heart. I just hope that change will better our state and not worsen it. We have to do something.

I'll be voting for Charlie Crist for Governor, down here in Florida. He is the one that I am voting for reluctantly. There's not a lot of difference between him and Jim Davis, but Davis has been running his campaign against Jeb instead of against Crist, which I just find nuts. Jeb would win reelection in a landslide if he could run again, and Davis is talking about undoing everything that Jeb has done!?! Anyhow, I digress.

I'll be voting for an independent, Roy Tanner, for Senate. Partially out of protest of the other candidates, but I also really like his platform. Other than that, I'll be voting for Republicans for most offices down here-not that Republicans deserve to hold offices (they haven't gotten too much acomplished), but what's the alternative? I would vote for a democrat this time around, but I can't find one that is running on issues; only on anger toward Bush.

I have no idea who i am voting for because person from both sides seem not good people who can direct our country into the right direction we want in the be heading. I live in Arizona, John Kyl has made a law that does not let women get abortion and he has all these laws he wants to pass that are not right for our state, Jim Peterson is the same way to, I think it's a bunch of bull why can't they just run a normal campaige and stop acting like child fighting on the playground. Grow-up!

I usually vote all over the political spectrum based on the specific candidates. This time will be different. This one seems more like an intervention than an election. The republican party has been hijacked by reactionary, narrow-minded, far-right wackos. This country needs a very hard pull back to the left, and it needs it now. I'm in Indiana. It's very red, so I feel a little helpless.

We have early voting in Tennessee, I voted 2 days ago and voted mostly democrat. Most politicians had my total backing but a couple were the lesser of the two evils.

I will vote for candidates that most closely reflect the ideas and actions I want to have occur in the coming years. We have many local and state issues on the ballot here. They include property rights of citizens, abortion choices, marriage definition. These impact me more directly than some of the Washington DC problems. Fortunately this state has fairly honest, moderate and logical thinking representatives.

I generally vote party, however in this particular election, there are some opposing party members I am more in favor of. Not because of current national events, but because of some state (Florida) issues that I am not in agreement with. So I guess the answer is half and half, party and issue.
