I think this one specific person is not a good person.

What do you think about all the left wing liberal nuts that committed crimes and are now rotting in jail?

One person's actions shouldn't reflect the whole group.

I am a Christian (so called Jesus Freak), who is predominantly conservative, and often votes Republican (although sometimes I vote independent), so I guess you are asking what I think of Haggard. For the most part I had never heard of the man until a couple of days ago.

From reading Mr. Haggard's response (posted on the New Life church's website) I would have to say that I am not embarrassed of this man. He made some big mistakes and got caught up in his own pride. But so did King David of the Old Testament and the Israeli judge Samson. They both repented, the Bible calls King David a man after God's own heart and gave Samson a place in the so called "Hall of Faith." (read Hebrews chapter 11).

For Biblical reasons, I hope that Mr. Haggard never tries to pastor a church again. Regardless I pray that he has truly repented of his sin; only time will tell. God will forgive him (1 John). He will also forgive this man's accuser (Romans 10:9) if he will repent and believe on Christ.

You are confusing Republicans with Evangelicals. You are also ready to hang a guy with zero evidence other than the statements of a gay prostitute. It may well be that his is guilty as sin, but right now it is looking like a distinct chance that the acuser is not telling the truth. Perhaps you would be better served to wait a few minutes before executing the guy. If he did what the guy said, they he should be punished....of course I would favor a punishment more severe than what Clinton got for lying under oath about sexually harrassing a 19 year intern.

I am a christian and a republican. I feel very sorry for his family. I did not believe it at first however he has admitted some of the allagations. Its like (i tried it but did not inhale) rigggggght. If it is true he has to deal with it and the consequences that come along with it. God will forgive him. We as humans are not always that willing to do so. I do think he did the right thing by stepping down from his posts and believe he should not be back into the pulpit.

I, as a Republican, have continually disliked Haggard. he's not what the GOP is about (gay prostitutes and meth habit aside). human beings like him are ruining the party. Bush were given the nomination in 2000 because the in basic terms those who voted contained in the primaries were Christians who were ordered to by technique of Jesus (by skill of Haggard etc). ok, it really is not authentic, in spite of the indisputable fact that that is what i want to inform myself. My message to Republicans: Vote for replace, Vote for Integrity, Vote for reason, Vote Giuliani. thanks, I had to get that off my chest.
