You start as a trainee keeper on around £17000.
After 3 years and upon completion of "The Keepers Course", you become a qualified keeper, earning around £20000.
After a further 2 years and a 6 month trial, you become a senior keeper, on around £22000.

It depends on his MR Qualification. MR is Monkey Responsibility. The more monkeys he is responsible for the more he earns. Most zoo keepers start off on a very low MR rate and work their way up.

i am sorry i don't know... i think they have a fairly low salary though... it is sad that the people that actually care about and animals and try to help them have a lower salary than those who have big industries and destroy the animals environment...
are you a zookeeper? if so you have the greatest job ever... Being a zookeeper is my dream job...
