Someone inevitably says something insulting then adds "What a waste of 5 points?! Why are they sooo concerned about this person, who they obviously do not approve of, wasting five points? Does it physically harm them in some way?

People like to share there feelings and sometimes those feelings come out as insults. Don't be to critical with them, they do not know any better. Maybe there minds are not to sharp and they think they are being funny, better yet they have this false hope that they are funny and that everyone that reads there answer laughs their behind off. Well I have news for you friends, we are not laughing anymore.

It is just their way of underlining the point they are trying to make - that they are in some way superior to the person asking the silly question. They don't understand apparently, that silly questions are great for giving people a chance to get creative with an answer. We can only hope that while they are racking up points by answering "silly" questions in such an unfriendly manner - that they get big big tummy aches.

A lot of folks feel better if they can make someone else feel bad...That's the only reason I can see for a lot of the carping that goes on here...it's not as if the points mean much! Also, if they get on here and call someone dumb or whatever, they still get their 2 points, which obviously matter loads to them!

this is supposed to be all in fun but some take everything in life personally - my issue is all the thumbs up and down i really dont care for others blocking the opinions of answers because they are insulted i want to see all the answers to each his own live and let live have a blast and not be uptight

Cuz they're obsessed with pointz. Dragon was obsessed with pointz once too. She is not quite as obsessed now, cuz she's at level 5 and has unlimited answers/questions. She'd still like to get to level 7, just to feel cool.

It's because they want to gain 2 pts and some ego pts as well. they should be reported. if every answer like that was reported and received a violation, that activity would stop.
