Bush does not let facts get in the way of his beliefs. He forms his beliefs and then gathers the facts that support them and ignores any fact that contradicts his beliefs. It is called the evangelical method as apposed to the scientific method where you first gather all the facts you can and use all of them to form your beliefs.
