Why do demoncrats want to bring down our country in order to advance other nations own agenda?

Here's what bothers me most: Democrats and Republicans voted for this war . We were tired of Saddam making a mockery out of the UN, its resolutions and inspections. There were countries in the UN that were undermining the entire effort and making billions while Saddam was in power.
WE wanted war to remove a serious threat. But now that we've experienced it, these same politicians act as if they knew better from the beginning. The president and legislature acted out the will of the American people. Bush shouldn't be blamed.

I think you buy into the media hype when you pigeon hole a party into an "agenda". Being around for awhile it's become painfully obvious that both main political parties in the US have their methods for keeping Democracy alive and well and in the face of other nations. Whether either will work is always up for grabs by the way it's presented or hyped or how much money is spent.

At this stage of the game I prefer to go with the person that tells me what I want to hear. They could be Democrats, Republicans, Independents, or purple. The point is: No voter would agree with their whole parties agenda if they knew all the facts.

One small example would be the Governor of California, he is Republican and believes in abortion. Don't live in that state but got to hand it to the guy. Does what he believes in and won't change his mind

Can you back that up with facts? Or is it just garbage coming out of your Republican conservative mouth? Why do Republicans want this country to become a Third World country? Why do they continue to put profit over the environment? Why are jobs in the US constantly being outsourced? Why did they use scare tactics to get the Patriot Act passed? Why dont you go protest outside of an abortion clinic or go down to the soup kitched and tell the homeless how lazy they are?

A lot of politicians have their own agendas and they are Republicans and Democrats.

Republicans are more about big business. Democrats are more about the working class.

I think what you say is dead wrong and you need to spend more time reading than watching Fox Network, especially O'Reilly. Make some discerning decisions for yourself on the political situation in this country: do not let Fox network skew your right to decide who is best for leadership of our nation and then:

We don't. We just want to see our country stong & protecting itself, or kids safe, & G Bush not spending all our taxes on the rich getting them tax cuts that we have to pay for. Did you happen to see the decifit lately?? Were you awake when he started his strangle hold on this country with a surplus?? I don't see it that way. I see the opposition party as being more rational about the problems we face rather than making up issues to attack like Republicans are doing.

If you are honest about the positive and the negative, then you aren't bringing the country down. You are assessing the situation and being realistic about what things need to be fixed. Claiming there is nothing wrong in the face of much that is wrong doesn't win one many points.

I hope that's not a rhetorical question, because it's a good one. I think this kind of democrat is co-dependent! A good 12 step program would help a lot of limp thinking liberals. They often mistake tolerance for a virtue. Their self esteem is based on what other people (countries) think of them. They could have self respect by sticking to correct principles instead of "pride" that's not based on anything. It's a classically immature attitude; that's why they are sooo susceptible to hype.............. But I don't have much of an opinion about it.
