I live in Holland Michigan its a medium size town.I was wondering how hard it is to get the ps3 on its realese day. Will it be worth it like the bugs and stuff.I a really impatient and I cant wait till march to get one. If its not worth it is the 360 worth it. Don't talk about the Wii because it is not good enough for a primary console it will be my secondary for sure.

It is going to be very difficult to get one on launch day. It is almost certain that there will be bugs; the 360 had its share and still does.

Weather or not it is worth it is up to you. I can tell you that the hardware is better than that of the 360 in every way.

The 360 does not have better graphics (right now they are about the same, but in a year or two when developers really learn to utilize the superior hardware of the PS3, there will be no comparison. The PS3 is simply capable of so much more)

Anyone who spends 400 bucks on a game system simply to Play Halo3 is a moron and the true comparison between the prices of the two are 400 to 600 or 300 to 500 for the lower versions of the two.

Nice job distorting the truth John f.

Honestly, the PS3 game selection isn't worth it for me.
I doubt the gameplay will be any better than the XBOX 360, and apart from the graphics, there's nothing innovative at ALL about the system! Sony is pretty arrogant for thinking people will pay $600 for what they have to offer, and I definitely think that price, plus the negative reviews their new system is getting, will make it easier to aquire.
If you must have one, I would wait a week or two, and make sure there aren't any viruses or bugs, or problems with software. Although if there were, you would probably get a refund or replacement item without difficulty.

it relatively is common to purchase a PS3. i might propose you get an 80GB, and upgrading the HDD to a greater physically powerful one later. I have been given the unique 60GB a month after launch. And definite, in case you come back in the time of a KZ2 and MGS4 equipment, then get it, because of the fact they're 2 of the main suitable video games in my opinion.

no chance of getting a ps3 because i can already imagine moms shopping before christmas camping out before best buy. a ps3 is better than xbox 360 because it has better graphics the 360 has bluray and free internet. an xbox online adaptor costs 100 bucks another 170 dollars for hd dvd ad on player and also costs money for online play and if you think about it ps3 is the better deal. But no guarantee of getting one until spring
