Like another person said, Jacobs is all or nothing. He's not going to get you any points for yardage, and there's no guarantee that he'll score a touchdown. It's great if he gets a goal-line carry, but otherwise he could be a zero for the week.
I'd go with Rudi, even against the Ravens' D. He gets more carries, and I'd bet that Lewis stresses the run even more this week for two reasons. The Bengals have run into problems this season when they go away from the run, and even Rudi has been complaining about that fact. Giving Rudi 25 carries also makes the passing game more potent, and I'm thinking that's what we'll see from the Bengals this week. Rudi might not score, but he'll get some points from yards. And if he does score, then he's potentially a 10+ points guy this week.

I tend to prefer backs that I know get the ball a lot. Even if rudi doesn't score, he will get most of his team's yardage. Jacobs is an all or nothing play unless Tiki is hurt.
And they both played at Auburn, by the way. War Eagle. Jacobs left to get more playing time. Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams were getting all the carries. Even still, I thought Jacobs was potentially the better RB of the three. I hope to snag Jacobs cheap on draft day next year.

Tough call. Rudi Johnson is the safer bet. You know he will get the majority of their carries, but Baltimore's defense is definitely solid. The problem with starting Jacobs is that there is a possibility that he will earn no points because he does not get the ball enough and in the right situations. If it were me, I would definitely start Johnson.

Tough one, but you gotta think that Tiki will eventually get some TD's and keep Jacobs on the sidelines. Even still, I like the matchup vs. Rudi against a rejuvinated Ravens squad.
Edge - Jacobs (for his BS goalline TD's)

RUDI!! He should be a for sure starter every week. Jacobs only gets goal line carries, while Rudi gets ALL carries, and catches passes. Cinci's passing game should keep Baltimore honest at the line of scrimmage.

I would always start a running back getting all the carries before a TD thief. The thief will only have hit or miss games. The starting RB will pile up points even if he doesn't get a TD.
