I think people can tolerate a Christmas wreath or a plastic snowman, or a nice smelling pine tree over skeletons, plastic tombstones and sheets for ghosts. What do you think?

Probably because you can use Christmas decorations..mostly Christmas lights around almost all year. Like me?! I still have my garland w/ white lights twisted together in my apartment wrapped around a square pillar at the top of my stairs. Sometimes I don't like using regular lighting when I watch movies in my living room, so I plug in the white lights instead...gives a nice glow. GOOD QUESTION!

Maybe because Christmas decorations, more often than not, remind us of good times spent with family and friends. Everytime I do see ours up, it never fails to give me a warm, fuzzy feeling. And then I would find myself singing "The Christmas Song"...hehehe

People feel guilty for celebrating a Pagan holiday, but want to show to everybody that they are a good Christian, thus leaving up Christmas decorations... which begs the question, why do people put lighhts up and a dead pine tree to celebrate the birth of Jesus? hmm...

My mother leaves hers up to wait for Epiphany, which is the celebration of when the 3 wise men reached baby Jesus.
Lights = Jesus is the light of the world.
Pine tree = It's an evergreen tree, God always has, and always will be.

Because wives get mad when their husbands have a doll made that looks like their mother - in - law and nail it to a cross then hang it on the outside of the door.
