dems support for gays?

Question

so why are the dems pissing on Reps for supposedly supporting gays, while according to history, it was the dems that wanted rights for gays and all that stuff? wasnt it nancy pelosi who was marching in parades where NAMBLA had representation?
so if the Reps supposedly support them, its like gay people calling Reps gay. no? dont worry dems, the gayest of gays will always vote for you.

um.. you seem pretty confused but that's ok.. everyone in america has varied opinions, regardless of party, on if "gay" is ethically right or wrong.. plenty of democrats are on either side of this.. the difference between democrats and republicans is that republicans don't want to give gay's the same rights straight people have whereas democrats believe that all US citizens should have the same rights regardless of what we do or do not think about them.. people are people and should be treated as such... i think the republican party has failed to realize that even if they disagree with someones choice ethically that doesn't give them the right to persecute them for it.

we do support someones personal choice its the fact that the republican party condems gays to hell to try to fire up the conservatives but have plenty of gay people on their roster.
