i think you should have a meeting with the manager. ask lots of questions. find out all about that location. find out about how they run things and who they have in charge during each open day.
then have a meeting with all the staff. ask them questions on how things are going at work. whats okay and whats not. ask them what they like and dont like about working there.
make sure the wright people are working in the wright department. there could be cashiers who are not so great at math and they could be the ones loosing money. or, some of the employees could be placed in departments they dont like and becus of that they wont work well in that area.
you should observe for a couple of weeks and see how things go and then take things in yur hands and start to make changes for the best.
good luck.

I think the first plan of action is to research the new location. Find out which area needs attention first. The shrinkage problem might need to be addressed first, because shrinkage causes lost profits. You need to talk to employees and maybe previous supervisors to see what they think needs your attention first. Make a well thought out plan, and start digging in! Good luck.

in case you' depended on' them, (I regard the be conscious 'have faith' as an extremely intense state), then you definately of course recognised them very fantastically. while they destroyed that have faith, there treachery incredibly mattered and it injury. It injury plenty which you relatively by no skill believed that it ought to ensue, and it relatively is totally complicated to ever forget it. you could in spite of the undeniable fact that for the duration of time forgive the chum for being so bloody stupid, yet you will by no skill forget the incident. If after this, that chum ever lower back make an identical idiotic mistake, then no longer basically might the friendship be terminated, yet you will possibly doubt your very own judgment for ever forgiving the sod. The organic action may well be to beat his head in, yet this action is frowned upon in a lawful society, and you will possibly by no skill get the stain out of the carpet. This makes one very careful.

I would meet with all the employees and make it clear that there are problems that need to be addressed. Enlist them to help you make it better. Make few changes until you understand all the issues, but move quickly to get rid of dead wood.

call a meeting to get to know your dept heads.
know their names, call them by their first and find out what each is looking for and what their objective is and what they are good at, time with company and backgd work. introduce yourself an give them a lil' bkgnd, but not all...your calling the shots.
get their respect. make it casual....

talk with the other managers at the store and find out what they think, what they like, what they want to change, go from there. This way everyone is involved and they will respect you for it.

if u want to stay with the company, I would suggest speaking to the district manager and explaining your situation. if you don't like the location that you are at...they have to switch you. Ecspecially if you explain why and have good reasons to back it up.
