I have to agree with the Hannibal pick. He is one of the few horror icons that you feel sympothy for. you feel a closness to him and feel more of a hatred toward the "put the lotion on" guy. How can a guy who eats people be any better than someone that makes clothes out of skin but it seems that way in the movie. This is the reason the movie is different than just about any other horror.

Out of the ones mentioned so far I would go with Pinhead. He's probably not an "icon" but Kakihara from Ichi the Killer is freakin awesome. Who couldnt love someone who would cut off their own tongue?

I'd have to agree with whoever said The Grudge. Absolutely terrifying! Not really an icon though.

I have to agree with Michael Myers. My 7 year old can't even watch clips about "Halloween". "Samara" from "The Ring" and "Toshio" from "The Grudge" are getting a real cult status too.

on the start i'd say Predator with the aid of fact he would get all invisible & then kick their @ss. yet i gotta say the guy from 3 hundred is badass and soo is the Jugger-ghost--in basic terms reason he's a ghost & prolly cant sense something. . . yet Jason doesnt ever die so odds would in all probability be fantastically stable with him. :)
