frequently the courts have a formulation this is in line with how lots you're making and that they might care much less if u have yet another new child on the way. U had this new child first and the courts say this new child is entitled to the existence they might have had if u and the mum stayed mutually. additionally, u would are starting to be a level, yet u needless to say have not grown up! Calling ur new child's mom a "loser" or the different call is fairly infantile whether she is! The courts will maximum possibly tell u "u chosen to have yet another new child understanding ur economic undertaking with this one. yet another new child shouldn't impact this one. This one DOESNT get any further low fee and would no longer lose out because of the fact u have yet another on the way." that's precisely what they informed my father (my mom had a damn sturdy activity/my stepdad did too), then they raised the new child help. If something, u ought to be apprehensive approximately getting an lawyer and getting custody of ur daughter. Or can u no longer take care of to pay for to get ur daughter (which ought to be your FIRST precedence) because of the fact uve have been given this new infant coming? Oh properly! This new child got here first and is in a bad undertaking in accordance to you, subsequently SHE ought to be your FIRST precedence perfect now! EDIT: i'm sorry then. merely subject approximately getting ur new child out of that undertaking.

Possibly. The mother of your child would have to petition the court and her petition would have to be granted. There's no easy answer to that question because it involves a lot of complex issues like custody, right of issue (meaning the possible entitlement to your estate your child would have), etc., and it also depends on the laws of your state. No need to sweat it unless you win the Lotto and she petitions the court. If that happens, take some of that huge chunk of money you won and invest in the best lawyer you can find.

Were you together when the tickets were purchased? Why don't you just set up a trust fund for your children, they are the ones you are responsible for.

If you were together though and the purchase was from the household budget then yes you will be required to split it, if you live with someone for over a year you are legally bound as that person being your spouse.

A trust fund is the way to go I think as you are guanranteeing the education of your children and access be denied until they need it you can even state the amount to be withdrawn yearly, good luck.

Lottery winnings over $500 (not sure if that is the exact amount) are reported to the IRS as income, so you can't pretend you didn't win anything.

She won't get half, but she can file to have child support increased if you won a significant amount.

No.. but she could go after more child support. Depends on the child support laws in your state. Some states it's a formula (X% of income) but I don't think lottery winnings would qualify.

No. Set up accounts and funds for the children themselves, with attorneys presiding the gift.
If you are generous, give money to the mother, but your responsibility is ONLY to the child.

Doubt it, but she may be able to ask for more child support, if lottery winnings count as income.
